Explosive Blast Simulators
OPCON provides a comprehensive lineup of blast simulation systems capable of safely replicating a wide range of explosive events encountered during real emergency responses.

Powder Containment Shells
OPCON’s Powder Containment Shells (PuCS) are purpose-built visual effect cartridges that work with our simulator systems to control the look and atmosphere of each training event. While the simulator generates the pressure signature and report, the PuCS creates the visual effect — including smoke, flash, and obscuration — allowing instructors to tailor scenarios to specific tactical objectives.
By swapping PuCS styles, agencies can quickly replicate explosive breach events, diversionary devices, vehicle attacks, and other high-stress operational environments without changing hardware or relying on live explosives.
Each shell is engineered for safe, repeatable performance, giving instructors precise control over intensity and visibility while keeping personnel focused on tactics, communication, and decision-making under pressure.
Smoke & Audio Devices
The SIM-Series delivers two powerful tools for immersive law enforcement training: SIM-SMK wireless smoke deployment and the Scenario Sound Kit for integrated tactical audio.
SIM-SMK rapidly fills structures and training environments with dense, non-toxic smoke to create low-visibility conditions for CQB, warrant service, hostage rescue, active threat response, and force-on-force operations.
The Scenario Sound Kit adds wireless, high-clarity audio including gunfire, crowd noise, radio traffic, diversionary effects, alarms, and command communications to increase stress, confusion, and operational realism.
